Customers of Credit Agricole Bank owning credit cards now may participate in the IQ Energy housing energy efficiency program from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) which allows individual citizens of Ukraine to obtain European grants for heat insulation of their houses in the amount of up to EUR 3 000. Both existing and new customers of the bank may obtain the grant.
Earlier, it was necessary to undergo a procedure of obtaining a loan in an branch of a bank in order to receive European compensation, but now the owners of credit cards from Credit Agricole just need to take the following steps:
“IQ energy program generated much interest on part of the customers of our bank. In just two months, we granted almost mUAH 2 loans. And this is just the beginning! We are happy that the Ukrainians realize the necessity of installing energy efficient equipment and modernizing their dwellings. The advantages of a credit card from Credit Agricole include:
“At present, paying for goods by credit card is the quickest way to participate in the IQ energy program. This financial product is especially convenient during active construction or modernizing of a dwelling as a customer may use a loan, repay it and use it again, and each time receive IQ energy compensation (35% of the loan/investment amount). At that, the maximum amount of compensation is EUR 3 000 for one individual during the whole program validity period”, - Oksana Bulhakova, IQ energy Program Manager, highlights.
Please be reminded that in order to receive compensation from the EBRD via IQ energy program, it is necessary to purchase energy efficient equipment on credit via a partner bank. Within the framework of the program, non-taxable compensation shall be paid in euro to a separate FX account of a customer for any type of loan issued by a partner bank. A customer shall be able to withdraw cash in euro prior to repayment of the loan in hryvnia.
IQ energy program was designed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and is financed by the Eastern European Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership (E5P) with a major contribution made by the European Union, as well as Sweden and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.
