Credit Agricole Bank continues the “Parlons Français” project aimed at promoting the French language learning in Ukrainian schools.
On 11 April, the second meeting took place as part of the initiative. Pupils of Kyiv School №112 visited the flagship branch of the bank.
Guests had a small tour, saw digital tools of the new model branch, listened about the prospects of the banking system development, and learnt the information on Credit Agricole. Employees of the bank emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages and conducted an interactive game. Pupils showed a good command of French, especially of the financial terminology.
“Credit Agricole facilitates the development of French-Ukrainian relations not only from economic, but also from cultural standpoint. We continue the project “Parlons Français” as we received a very positive feedback from its participants. For pupils and teachers, it was interesting to see our state-of-art new model branch and to speak French with specialists of the bank. For Credit Agricole employees, it was an excellent opportunity to share their knowledge and French language proficiency”, Jean-Paul Piotrowski, the CEO of Credit Agricole Bank, comments.
“It was the second meeting within “Parlons Français” project but what is important is that this time, the school contacted us itself with the request to join the initiative. This evidences that the project is interesting and useful for Ukrainian school pupils, who learn French and therefore, we will continue such meetings for all comers. We hope that such events will become a good tradition, so we will wait for more visitors”, Stanislav Perevezentsev, the specialist of Digital and Innovations Department of Credit Agricole Bank, comments.
Credit Agricole Bank started “Parlons Français” project in late November 2018. The initiative is aimed at promotion of learning French in schools. According to the conditions of the project, employees of the bank, who speak French fluently, conduct meetings with high school pupils and communicate only in French. “Parlons Français” is dedicated to the Year of French Language in Ukraine.
